So far this is all done in a photo editing software paint.net. You can get the polygonal highlighting in game by using the command drawTriangle but it takes a lot of work to do so I'm holding off on finishing my in-game border map until the details are finalized. For border dashes in-game, Livonia added three dash styles that you can create if you use create3DENEntity ["Marker","Contact_dashedLine1",screenToWorld [0.5,0.5]], create3DENEntity ["Marker","Contact_dashedLine2",screenToWorld [0.5,0.5]], and create3DENEntity ["Marker","Contact_dashedLine3",screenToWorld [0.5,0.5]]. After that you'd need conditional scripting on map initialize to have it scale to zoom level.

Do you make this in the futur ? is realy cool to see border line for mission maker

I have one question regarding the border between Laos and S. Vietnam; Wouldn't the border be closer to the ridgeline to the west of the A Shau? The A Shau was famously next to the border.

My reasoning for how I drew that border region was that the land from A Shau Valley to the river is classified as Western A Shau, this is evident in mission #3 Bright Light. I'd imagine in real world terms that region would be the Vietnam owned forested region to the west that has the border running through it.

looks good, i have no idea about the other smaller waterways, they weren't planned based on real rivers.

Really like this idea, i suggest you post it to the workshop at some point. I personally like having accurate maps so i can recreate battles

@Pants, sorry I have not had as much time as I'd like to work on it.
I am about halfway through though.

Here is an update image.

Each border segment is 20m wide. Hopefully at one point I'll transition it into scalable dash icons but for the time being they are area rectangles.

The shore border is _500m away from the coastline and is in _100m increments. (3/4 done)
The interior land borders are _50m increments. The general path of the borders are completely done with the Cambodia and South Vietnam Border being complete.

The Zone highlighting is a script and is just waiting for the borders to be done.

Map Comments are broken down into historical estimate, SGD confirmed, translation, and continuation estimate.

If you have any feedback or changes you think will work better, please let me know.
