Ive been following the unsung mod and community for what seems almost a decade now and now since its basically become a dlc ive been wondering for a long time when are the radar operators gonna get some love, my grandfather operated an an/pps 4 during his time in SEA and i cant reiterate just how important and cool this job actually was. Tho im not a expert on this equipment as its well before my time from what ive learned from someone who was there this GSR system used the doppler effect to detect and distinguish the location, speed and direction of moving ground units up to a range of 1.5km. Why i think such an asset would be great for the prairie mod dlc would be it would increase the immersion of various roles performed GI forces on and off base as the an/pps 4 was the more portable version it could be taking out in feild and set for listening post operations. this suggestion of mine is probably pooorly written lol as im at work but since the death of colin powell today had me thinking of my grandfather who like powell served pre 65 as he was previously in the korean war beforehand.
