If you have read John Meyer's books, he mentions that when on the ground, to limit their signal being RDF'd (radio direction finding), they would just break squelch once, twice or three times to signal Covey or other overhead assets.
I just finished making a scenario in the editor and once on the ground I have to setup a RON (remain overnight) before heading out the next morning on my mission. I set that up on a trigger to jump ahead in time about ten hours to simulate staying in my RON.
I think a nice sound to be added to the trigger sounds would be the squelching to signal we are set for the night. I have went through the sounds and nothing comes close to the radio squelch sound.
Just a thought.
