problem with the building mod

Hello everybody,
Here we have a little problem on our MIKE Force server.

Indeed despite all our attempts it is impossible for us to be able to use the build menu.

all the conditions are met but nothing happens.

Solutions ? tips?

It may have something to do with the ranking system. Try turning it off in parameters and see if that fixes the issue. If it does, then you'll just need to rank up high enough if you turn it back on.

We have tried with rank on and off on our server.
I have been logged in as admin and not admin. Cleared save on each restart.
all the boxes are ticked in build menu. But we can not get the ghost builds to go green. Not anywhere.
In base, out of base, in enemy territory, out of territory.
supplies are there, shovel in hand, not in hand......
I can't find out what we are doing wrong.
enlighten me please.

Hmm.. haven't had that issue yet. Have you tried using the LMB/RMB to switch height and even rotate it to see if it goes green? You don't need supplies to build it, you only add them after it's built.

Hey mate, can you elaborate on what is happening when you use the build menu?
Is there no building item ghost showing up when you click on build ?

Normally in order to build you need to be an engineer and have completed your engineer training at the duty officer by pressing the "6" key then selecting engineer. You also need to have a shovel in your pistol slot.
A tip to check this is working correctly is pressing the N key then select any item to build. On the right hand menu it will list requirements to be met in order to build, if anything is in red then a requirement isnt met.

Hi.

It has been resolved for us.
I believe "to close to base" is the identifyer here.
Something that could possibly be added as a hint in the build menu. And I am sure nore will become clear ad development goes along.

Hmm.. yeah I'd agree with including a hint. Glad you got it resolved!

As a general rule of thumb you cannot build within the 4 main US bases , it normally shows a restriction marker.

Will raise this issue as a bug.

Anywhere outside of the bases you can build.

I understand thiat. And it should be that way.
I do not have any restriction markers though, so that would be a good thing to get. Or any kind of hint like "you are to close to base to build" or whatnot.

Hey I have a raised a ticket on the mike force bug tracker for this , so fingers crossed it will be an easy fix and can be implemented soon
