To all Prairie Fire players!
For those who have fought for it
life has a special flavor
the protected will never know ...
Thinking of the fallen brothers of MACV SOG, their indigenous warriors and brave airmen this Memorial Day weekend.

- DLC News
With the release and a tidal wave of urgent post-release activities out of the way things are slowly starting to return back to normal at Savage Game Design. We are now shifting our focus to quality assurance again so we can respond to your feedback in future patches! During the last week we were asked a few times if fixed issues will receive game updates individually. This is not the case, we are bundling as much of the fixes as possible in the next patch. I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to submit bug reports, it is much appreciated and together we'll make the Vietnam experience even better 😄
2. Veteran News
This week we didn't upload an interview with our military advisors but we have something else to share with you; A younger generation of veterans reviewing SOGPF and having a talk with us and our advisors! Savage Actual is made up of two Special Operations veterans (Jason Lilley and Patrick Moltrup) who share their thoughts and experiences on games, movies and more. These guys are the real deal and you can read a bit about their accomplishments in this article. In the interview that is hosted by our own Rob & Sam they talk to SOG 1-0's Dick Thompson and John Stryker Meyer:

- Mike Force News
There is not too much to say about Mike Force this week, developer Spoffy takes your feedback to heart and is working his arse off on the next Mike Force update! We did hear reports about some overenthusiastic ACAV personnel building castles in the sky that would fit better in a certain colourful battle royale game. Keep the enjoyment of others playing on the servers in mind guys, pilots take note!

This section is going to be very easy to write for me if Sirloin keeps this up. He expanded his list of awesome video tutorials with the Cinematic, Aircraft Master Arm and Advanced Logistics modules! You can find them here: https://community.sogpf.com/threads/433-Editor-Module-Video-Tutorials
- Highlighted Community Content[/B]
What caught my eye this week was a community project to define the actual country borders of the Cam Lao Nam map, this picture shows the current progress. ShadowVVolf had a look at real life maps of the time and with a little help of Rob he came to this map overlay posted bellow. They are now working on identifying other landmarks like rivers, join the discussion here: https://community.sogpf.com/threads/344-Cam-Lo-Nam-Map-quot-Borders-quot
6. Highlighted Mission
This weeks highlighted mission is Dynamic Recon Ops originally developed by mbrdmn. We really appreciate SaberSnack has adapted the mission for the SOGPF DLC. You can find it here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2496333329
Dynamic Recon Ops is a randomised, replayable scenario that generates an enemy occupied AO with a selection of tasks to complete within. Select your AO location, the factions you want to use and any supports available or leave them all randomised and see what mission you are sent on. Designed to be simple to use but with plenty of options to customise your mission setup, the objective behind DRO is to create a way to quickly get playing a new scenario in singleplayer or co-op. With as few changes to the base game as possible, DRO aims to showcase the unique and varied gameplay that Arma 3 has to offer for smaller scale infantry combat.
Also a big thanks to Georg Ravioli who originally ported the mission to Cam Lao Nam but stated we should link this more advanced version when we contacted him!
