Hello SOGPF team - this CDLC is amazing and Mike Force is especially awesome. Thank you for all of your hard work.
I've had some fun on a hosted server and want to introduce some of my friends to the concept by running the game on a local server hosted on my PC. I've subscribed to the workshop module, downloaded the .bin file, renamed it as a .pbo and copied it to the correct location. When I go to Multiplayer > Host Server, I'm able to see and launch the Mike Force scenario and everything works fine. People can connect and we can run missions as expected.
What I can't figure out is how to "save" the state of the world and our progress. If this was a dedicated server, of course it would remain up and running, but this is a local server and it isn't always running Arma. Anything I can do to save the progress we make after each playing session?
I'm aware that a rented or dedicated server is the ideal method for running Mike Force - I'm just hoping there's a way to save progress when it's a non-dedicated, local server.
