How do you build? I am in ACAV and an Engineer, with sandbags in my inventory.

As the title suggests, I'm wondering how to build, I am in ACAV and an Engineer, I have sandbags in my inventory yet when I click to only show unlocked items, whenever I try to place them they are red and no matter where I go, they stay red, please advise on how to build, thanks!

Hi irish

In order to build you need to be in ACAV , be a trained engineer and have a shovel.
You can just select ALL items in the build menu as nothing is rank locked for an engineer in ACAV.

Rule of thumb is you cant build anywhere inside the 4 main FOB's , pleiku , plei mei , ban me thout etc

So the ghost of the build item remains red and you cant get it to show as green, are there any requirements that are not met in the list on the right panel of the build menu ?

The checkpoint IS the spawnpoint. Just make sure it has supplies since it uses up supplies any time someone spawns there.

I thought so. I haven't done ACAV but once, and couldn't get a spawnpoint. I guess I didn't load any supplies.
