I'll elaborate a bit on this issue, as it's close to my heart too.

This issue is important not only because of aesthethics, but also from gameplay perspective. Mil-dot reticle (as introduced on Unertl scope) provides a much more advanced solution to both range estimation, and bullet-drop compensation, than any other 1960s scope, with only exception being Soviet PSO-1. Anyone who has knowledge of the mil-dot (and Arma community is full of such weirdoes!) will be able to utilize this advantage against other players - advantage he wouldn't have in real-life.
SOG😛F already has very nice Redfield scope model (it's used on M14), with only changes needed being colour (Redfields on M40 were anodized, giving it greenish-to-bronze tint, see here or here) and reticle. USMC reticle contained a simple crosshair in the middle, range reference lines on the top (space between the lines equaling 18 inches on the target) and a so-called "tombstone" range indicator - this element would change it's appearance when zooming in or out. The whole ranging process explained (and here - notice this is modern reproduction which includes additional ranging and BDC marks).
In practice the tombstone indicator would often delaminate, leaving shooter with no range estimation feature on the scope (hence the need for mil-dot reticle in late 1970s).

But the crosshair of this M14 scope is also wrong. the ART scope recticle were used in this scope.
ART scope were used by ARMY M21(M14 sniper ver.)
While it's true that M21 used ART and ART II scopes, it was adopted in 1972, which is a little late for the 1968 setting of SOG😛F. At that time one could encounter either "marksmanized" M14s with M84 scope (lots of good pictures here - base scope is already in PF on M1 Carbine) or XM21 rifles with AR TEL scope.
SOG😛F contains M14 with Redfield, which is pretty good base for XM21. The scope mount is way too high for some reason (see this photos: 1, 2, 3 - compare with in-game model), scope itself lacks the cam that connected the zoom and calibration mechanisms (note how the cam itself is marked for 7.62x51 M118 round - question is if this auto-ranging feature can be still simulated in Arma 3? It was working in OFP), and the gun needs it's fire selector switch replaced with a plug that blocked it to semi-only (a feature found on National Match version of M14, and carried over to XM21/M21).
Additionally, the suppressor model for the M14 is wrong - a proper one would be a Sionics suppressor. 5.56 version is already in SOG😛F, used on M16 - the M14 version has a different profile (see here or here), also the 5.56 version in-game lacks the locking collar on the rear (though it has the threads for the collar).
Apart from that:
- APX scope on MAS-49/56 can be zoomed in - I suppose it's configured as a 3-9x, not 3.85x.
- On Mosin 1891/30 model there is no scope rail - for some reason it's all modelled as a part of the sight itself.
- It's possible to mount Mosin PU scope on SKS - in real life Soviets experimented with PU on SKS in 1949, making two prototypes. Both used mounts vastly different than what's in-game - scoped SKS in SOG😛F reminds me of commercial Chinese and Russian solutions from 1980s/1990s, or Yugoslav solution from 1990s (the only configuration used by military).
- Alternate (emergency) sight view on Colt 3x scope is set above the scope, despite the fact that scope mount allows use of M16 ironsights (scope model already has the gap).
