Sapien82

My name is Paul aka "Sapien82", im 38 and live in Glasgow, Scotland.

I've been involved with Savage Game Design with the QA team and play testing of the CDLC for about 2 years. I got involved through Rob aka Eggbeast when asked to come play test the CDLC. I've known Rob since the days of unsung on arma2 and have been friends ever since and can say its been an absolute pleasure to work with him and the rest of the Dev team to produce this fantastic piece of art.

My first recollection of the vietnam war was watching the war films with my dad when I was a wee guy. In highschool i'd stay up late to watch "tour of duty" and then I got my own pc before I started University and then Vietcong came out and I was hooked on Nam games and played everything that had Vietnam in it on console and PC.
I got into Arma via my love of operation flashpoint , and met Rob and Maarten and the others through mutual gaming groups.

I love art and design and videos games, I paint graffiti murals for fun and enjoy taking my two chihuahua pugs on long walks in the countryside.

And your story about Tour of Duty matches mine so well! I can't hear Paint it Black without seeing the chopper intro from Tour of Duty <3 That's also where I heard the quote, 'When I die, bury me face down so Vietnam can kiss my ass!' for the first time and that stuck in my memory forever hah!

My brother and I both loved Vietnam era movies, and playing soldiers in the back yard growing up. Influenced us to both join the Infantry when we were old enough. Now that Im out, looking forward to playing “soldier” again with him on Prairie Fire

Hey Paul nice to meet you and everyone else here. Funny you mention Tour of Duty. I just finished season 1 for the first time. Surprisingly good show. Also wanna say that I really love this DLC. This game has been out for about 8 years now and it amazes me at how strong it's still going.
